Subject: Lee's interview
I enjoyed reading Lee's interview. One of the major
handicaps for the diffusion of computers is the cost.
As someone who has been in the industry of
manufacturing computers, I'd like to know from her
the cost and sense of acquiring capital equipment -- e.g.
optical steppers, etc. -- to permit the manufacture of PCs
below N1000.00 compared to the cost of N52,000, which is
above the reach of most Nigerans. I talk about Ic's
because they are the bedrock of PC's
