All I can say is, it is about time.....Enterprise security is a joke in pretty most all corporations, as most IT managers have to contend with NT nightmares ( Code Red Worm 14 version ) protocol ( we use UNIX/LinuX/Free BSD ( we use to run Amigas, which is now coming back on the market as Amiga SDK and Amiga One, a G4 "power house" PPC ) which runs both our servers and Ethernet "in-house" operations, and we do not have the IT headaches the NT croud have ).
And further more, as the military is quickly switching back to Analog technologies ( for un-breakable RSA type security protocol ), for example ATM for "land to sea" ops for the Navy ( "911" security )who have "a bone to pick" with MS on their ship board communications utilizing ( they had a major crash on about the Cole attack and now the "911", as Gates' and his lot are now a national security ( major ) breach and threat to both our country's sanity and security, as my Naval contacts have informed me, at the "Gon".
So, if the good Doctor is to succeed with his plans in a more secure IT/Enterprise infrastructure, he better get the MS "fly out of the ointment" first or he is just wasting his and our time as IT personnel ( "if you build a better mouse trap, you better use good materials to construct it, or it could fail before you can get it to market" Murphy's Law proverb ).
