Guidelines:
  1. Must be an ACM/SIG sponsored or co-sponsored event that is part of an annual or biennial event series.
  2. Must be submitted at least 15 - 18 months prior to the start of the event.
  3. A valid ACM or SIG Membership Number(s) must be provided for the General Chair (Co-Chair) and Treasurer **
** Please note that if this event is Co-Sponsored with ACM and IEEE, organizers will be permitted to enter a valid IEEE membership number as a replacement to an ACM membership number.
 
Following submission of the Preliminary Approval Form [PAF]:
  1. You will receive a confirmation email upon submission.
  2. The information from the PAF will be forwarded to the appropriate SIG volunteer leadership for their review and endorsement.
  3. Further instructions will be sent by Maritza Nichols [nichols@hq.acm.org] within two weeks of submission.
 
If the Preliminary Approval Form [PAF] is endorsed by the SIG Leadership:
  1. ACM will inform the Event Contact or General Chair of preliminary approval via email, organizers may then distribute the Call for Papers for the event.
  2. The event will appear in the Calendar Section of the Communication of the ACM [CACM] as well as the ACM on-line calendar.
  3. Hotel Contracts may be processed and executed.
